RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has found it necessary to install
and maintain far the purpose of conducting natural gas a line of 6-inch steel
pipe across the right of way and underneath tracks of Seaboard Coast Line
Railroad Company at Ulmerton Raad, Clearwater, Florida, at a point 2, 2?4
feet northwardly from Mile Post ARE-884; and
WHEREAS, the Railroad has prepared an agreement to that effect for
formal execution by its corporate officers, as well as the proper municipal
officials of the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, the Railroad has requested a Resolution be adopted by
said City, formally approving said Agreement and authorizing the proper City
officials to execute same;
NOW, THEREFORE, SE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATEA, FLORIDA, IN SESSION DULY
AND REGULARLY A5SEMBLED, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the Mayor, together with the other appropriate municipal
officers of the City of Clearwater, are hereby authorized and empowered to '
execute a certain agreement with the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad Company,
bearing date of October 12, 1971, in connection with the installation and main»
tenance far the purpose of conducting natural gas a line of 6~-inch steel pipe
across the right of way and underneath tracks of said Railroad at Ulmerton Road,
Clearwater, Florida, at a point 2,27A feet northwardly from Mile Post ARE-B$D.
2. That a certified copy of this Resolution shall be transmitted
forthwith to said Seaboard Coast Line Railroad Company.
