1, After proper public hearing the City Commission finds that no
valid objections have been filed with the City Clark or that the objections
made are insufficient, and therefore, it is ordered that the construction of
sanitary sewer lines and facilities in the unincorporated geographic area
abutting Morrow Drive, between Nursery Road and Penny Lanc, in Doug]as
Manor, 1st Addition, Clearwater, Pinellas County, Florida, shall be
completed in accordance with plans and specifications therefor filed in the
Office of the Clerk of the City of Clearwater and the City Manager and the
Gity'Engineer are directed to proceed with such improvements as an
assessment project and in accordance with the procedure as provided in
House Bill 5436 {Chapter 70-9a6y, passed by the Florida State Legislature,
with an effective data of October 1, 1970.
Z. After completion of the construction of the sewer lines and
facilities, the City shall assess the actual r_oat thereof against the property
abutting said sewer lines and facilities and said costs shall be itemized and
subject to audit.
3. It is hereby determined at this public hearing that the price or
rate charged for the sewer service shall be na more than fifty per cent
(50'je~ highez than is charged for a like class of service to a like class of
users or consumers within the municipal boundaries of said City of Clearwater.
