R E S O L U T I O N
No. 71 - 111
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Pinellas County,
I`lorida, has been requested to construct improvements to Rogers Street
from Thornton Road Wast for a distance of 5b5 feet; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has ordered that
these improvements be made with the coat of the improvements to be
assessed against benefiting abutting property owners in accordance with
Chapter 63-1783, Special Acts of Florida 1963; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City of Clearwater consent to the
adoption and confirmation of the resolution passed by the Board offering
the said improvement since a part of the improvement to be made lies
iri paxt within the limits of the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the hest interests of both the City
and the County of Pinellas to improve this section of Rogers Street; and
WHEREAS. the City of Clearwater is desirous of consenting to the
said improvement and the assessment of the portion located within the
City limits of the City of Clearwater;

;erg, IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
;; , FOLLOWS:
1. That the City of Clearwater consents to the adoption and confirms
the resolution passed by the Board of County Commissioners offering the
construction of improvements to Rogers Street from Thornton Road West for
a distance of 505 feet.
Z. That the City of Cleaxwater #urther consents to the improvement
tnd assessment of abutting property owners for the full cost of construction of
the portion within the City limits by the Board of County Commissioners against
property located within the City of Clearwater.
3. That a certified copy of this Resolution be forwarded forthwith to
the Board of County Commissioners of Pinellas County, Florida.
