WHEREAS, the State of Florida Department of Transportation has
submitted a Federal Aid Urban System map to tha City Commission for its
authorization to officially approve the same by execution by the Mayor-
C ommis s ions r; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has several reservations as
to the proposed North causeway, the Belcher Road Expressway and the
rerouting of Alternate I9; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission ie willing for the Mayor«Commissioner
to execute the said reap, subject to the attachment of a letter stating the
Commission's objPCtians;
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RrSOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORII3A,
IN SESSION REGULARLY AND DULY ASSEMDLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Commission of the City of Clea,;water hereby
officially authorizes its Mayor-Commissioner to execute the Federal Aid
Urban System Map. '
2. That the Mayor-Camxnissioner i,s to cause a letter Lo he written
to be transmitted with the said map stating several reservations as to certain
of the proposed routes.
