Protection Agency to make Federal grants for sewage treatment works to public 1
bodies to aid in financing the cast of construction and related cast to aid in
the construction of such public work; and •
Wf~ERFAS, the Applicant has previously made application for grant
funds under said Public Law bb0 and the U.S, Department of Interior through
the Environmental Protection Agency and the Florida Department of Air and
Water Pal lution Control has made an offer to the Applicant dated June ~4, 1971; !I

COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLFARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLQWS: l
T . That the Applicant accepts such offer as preferred inasmuch as the
construction of the additions and modifications to the Clearwater I~st Sewage
Treatment Plant, the Marina Station Plant, and the Marshall Street Sewage
Treatment Plant are necessary and that the construction of Sewage Pumping
Stations with Sewage Farce Mains, an Interceptor Relief Sewer and Interceptor
Extensions are also essential and that the acceptance of this offer will assist in
defarrtng the cost of construction of the aforesaid.
