A RESOLUTION CONDITIONALLY AWARDING BID ON
WATER IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT I, WATER SUPPLY
WELLS, CLEARWATER,.FLORIDA, WS-Fla-168,
CONTINGENT UPON APPROVAL OF THE DEPARTMENT
OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater advertised and received bids an
Water Improvements Project I, Water Supply We11s, Clearwater, Florida,
WS-Fla-l68, on March 9, 1971; and
WHEREAS, said bids have been tabulated and the recamrnendations
'~ of Briley, Wild & Associates have been submitted to the City;
;;~ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
'~•+ COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
~~~ IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
:,• " FOLLOWS:
1. That the bid for Project I, Water Supply Wells, submitted by
Virginia Supply & Well Company of Atlanta, Georgia, in the amount of
$17, 993.40, be conditionally awarded subject to final approval by the
Department of Housing & Urban Development.
Z. That subject to final appxoval of the Department of Housing &
Urban Development, the proper City officials are authorized and directed
to execute the contract with the above low bidder.
