RESOLUTION
No. ~ 1 - xz
' WHEREAS, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Clearwater has
recommended that left turns for vehicles from the West to the North an
Drew Street {S.R. 64} at Pierce Street he prohibited in order to facilitate
the smooth flow of traffic in this area; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater feels
that it is to the best interest of its citizens that said left turns be prohibited
on Drew Street {S. R. 60) and Pierce Street;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMJSSEON OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER. FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DUI,JY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the Gity Cannmiesion of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
hereby officially requests the Florida Department of Transportation to
authorize the prohibition of left turns far vehicles from the West to the North
on Drew Street {S. R. 6d) •at Pierce Street.
Z. That a certified copy of this Resoiutian be forwarded forthwith
to the Florida Department of Transportation, Tallahassee, Florida, and to
the District Engineer, Department of Transportation, Bartow, Florida.
