I. That the City of Clearwater hexeby foxrnally requests the Board
of County Commissioners of Pinellas County, Florida, to take all foxmai
action necessary to cancel and discharge any and all liens for taxes,
from the date of acquisition by said C3.ty, held or owned by Pinellas County
or the State of Florida, upon the lands acquired by the City of Clearwater for
public use purpose and to provide that said lands shall be exempt Exam County
taxation so long as the same are used for such public puxpase, which said land
is described in the attached deed which by reference is made a part hereof,
2« That the City of Cloarwater guarantees payment of taxes prior to
the date of transfer on the hereinabove described properties when the tax
rolls reflect the proper amount and the City is billed for that amount.
3. That a certified copy of this Resolution be delivered forthwith to
Mr. James R. Stewart, County Administrator for Pinellas County, Florida.
