A RESOLUTION CALLYNG A SPECIAL MUNICIPAL
ELECTION TO BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 25, 19b9,
ON THE QUESTION OF THE APPROVAL OF THE
CONSTRUCTION OF PUBLIC HOUSING IN CLEAR-
• WATER, FLORIDA, AND PROVIDING FOR THE
MANNER OF CONDUCTING SAID ELECTION.
WHEREAS, according to the provisions of Section 421, 53, Florida
Statutes, it is necessary to hold a Freeholders Referendum in order to
approve or disapprove the construction of public housing in the City of
Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the Clearwater Housing Authority proposes to construct
or contract to construct in the City of Clearwater, Florida, four hundred
(400) unite of public housing;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. A Special Municipal Election shall be held in the City of Clearwater,
Florida, between the hours of 7:00 A. M. and 7:00 P. M. , on Tuesday, November
25, 1969, for the purpose of voting on the #allowing:
Shall the Clearwater Housing Authority be authorized to
construct or contract to construct in the City of Clearwater
four hundred (400) units of public housing?
2. All freeholders who are qualified electors residing in the City
of Clearwater and whose names appear as qualified electors on the official
registration books shall be eligible to vote at said election. All such qualified
electors shall sign an Affidavit, under penalty of perjury, that they are
freeholders as defined by the Florida State Statutes.

3. Notice of said election shall be given by publication in a newspaper
published and of general circulation in the City of Clearwater, once a week
for the four ~4) weeks immediately preceding said election,
~4. The City Clerk ie hereby instructed to prepare the ballot to be
used in said election and to da all things necessary and proper as required by
law in the management and conduct of said election.
