City Commission, shall appoint a chairman of this Committee and xnembexs from
the following organizations; the Chamber of Commerce, the 3e:nior Chamber of
Commerce, the Downtown Association, Clearwater Women's Club, Clearwater
Beach Association, Clearwater Garden Club, Gulf to Bay Motor Court Association,
Council of Clearwater Men's Service Clubs, Edgewater Drive Association, the
Clearwater Section of the Florida Central Chapter of the American Institution of
Architects, and such other individuals as may be appointed by the Mayor.
Appointments shall be for two-year terms.
3. The Beautification Committee is charged with the responsibility of
developing an ovarali beautification program for the City of Clearwater. It is
an advisory committee to the Mayor, City Commission, and the City Manager
and his staff. The Committee shall formulate and• encourage the development
of beautification and aesthetic enhancement projects, including but not limited to,
