NOW, THEREFORE, BF IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City of Clearwater shall establish those controls necessary
to continue and further insure the following:
a. Sat construction standards to reduce potential flood damage.
b. Guide the development of propo~3ed construction in flood-prone areas.
c. Assist in reducing damage caused by floods.
d. Improve the long range land management and use of flood-prone areas.
2. That the policies for Flood insurance for the City of Clearwater as
reviewed is hereby adopted and approved.
