1. That Merrett R. Stierheim, City Manager, be and he is hereby
authorized to execute and file an application on behalf of the City of Clearwater,
Florida, with the Department of Hauling and Urban Development, United States
Government, far a gxant to aid in purchasing the real property known as
Sand Key for outdoor recreational use, and an assurance of compliance with
the Department of Housing and Urban Development regulations under Title
VI of the Civi.i Rights ,Act of 1964.
2. That Merrett R. Stierheim, Gity Manager, be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to furnish such information as the Department of
Housing and Urban Development may reasonably request in connection with
the application which is herein authorized to be filed and otherwise act as
authorized representative of the City in connection with this application.
3, That cextified copies of this Resolution be included as part of the
application with the Department of Housing and Urban Development, United
States of America.
