RESOLUTION
No. Gq - 45
WHEREAS, it hoe come to the attention of the City Commission
that Leroy Smith has been dismissed ae a neighborhood worker for the
Pinellas Opportunity Council; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Commission that Leroy Smith
has worked diligently in his endeavors and has obtained wide support for
his efforts in the community; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to recognize this work;
NOW, THEREFORE, SE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSIQN OF TaE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
ZN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, A5
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Commission requests the Pinellas Opportunity
Council to carefully study and review Leroy Smith's dismissal as a
neighborhood worker on the basis o£ his work and concern for the people
of Clearwater who should be benefitted under the Council's program.
Z. That a certified copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the
Pinellas Opportunity Council, St. Petersburg, Florida.
