execution of ouch a program would further the interests of the said City of
Clearwatex, Florida;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TFiE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORLDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City of Clearwater, Florida, endoxsea the proposed
Flanning Program and authorizes the filing of an application with the Depart»
ment of Housing and Urban Development by the Tampa liay Regional Planning
Council on behalf of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
2. That declaration of intent is hereby made that funds in the amount
of $I6, 500.00 representing one-third (1/3) of the cask of the proposed program
are available and will be appxopriated frarn the budget appropriations of the
City of Clearwater and that such funds shall be remitted to the Tarnpa Bay
Regional Planning Council as required when the proposed '~701t4 Local
Assistance Planning Giant has been fully approved by the Depaxtment of
Housing and Urban Development; and
3. That it is agreed that said local funds shall be placed in a separate
account. together with the Federal grant funds, to be drawn upon by the
Regional Planning Council and utilized solely for the purpose of paying salaries
and expanses incurred in the execution of the local community's approved
planning program; and
