WHEREAS, tho City of Clearwater, Florida, has experiancod
limited damage during the recent hurricane Gladys; and
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater, Florida, intends to axccute
' an application for financial assistance with the Federal Government under
the provisions of Public Law $75;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMI5510N OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSIOI~r DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
That Merrett R. Stiexheim, City Manager of the City of Clearwater,
Florida, be and he is hexeby authorized to execute fir and in behalf of
the City of Clearwater, Florida, a municipal coxporation established under
the laws of the State of Florida, this application and to file it in the
appropriate State office for the purpose of obtaining certain Federal
financial assistance under the Federal Disaster Act. {Public Law $?5,
