RESOLUTION
No, 68 - 112
~~-:,
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater and the Town of Largo are
desirous of entering into an Agreement which will provide for the proper
planning of urban and municipal services to the public in a manner which
will eliminate duplication of planning and cost of services and which will
prevent controversy and doubt as to which areas shall be served by which
municipality; and
WHEREAS, such an Agreement has been prepared for formal
execution by the proper municipal officers of the City of Clearwater and
the Town of Largo; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to formally approve said
agreement and authorize the proper City officials to execute same;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
I1V SESSION DULY AND REGU.T~ARLY ASSEMBLED,
A5 FOLLOWS:
1. That the Mayor-Commissioner, together with the other appropriate
municipal officers of the City of Clearwater, are hereby authorized and ,
empowered to execute a certain Agreement with the Town of Largo which
will provide for the proper planning of urban and municipal services to the
public.
2. That a certified copy of this Resolution is to be attached to
said Agreement and by reference made a part thereof.
