WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater, Florida, a municipal corparn,tian,
has acquired curtain hereinafter described real properiies far road right
of way avid other public use purposes; and
WHEREAS; said City of Clearwater desires that the Board of County
Commissioners of Pi.nullas County dig charge any and alI liens for taxes
from the date of acquisition by said City held or owned by the County or the
State of Florida upon said sands heretofore acquired by said City of Clearwater
and to furth~:r provide that said lands shall be exempt from County taxation
so long as the same are owned and used for such public purpose; and
WHEREAS, Florida Statutes 192, 59, Taxation; cancellation
of delinquent taxes upon lands used fox road purposes, etc. , grants to the
Board of County Commissioners of Pinellas County, Florida, full power and
authority to accomplish this request; and
WHEREAS, in order to comply with the policy of said Board, the City
of Clearwater is willing to guarantee payment of taxes prior to the date of
transfer on the hereinafter described properties when the tax rolls reflect
the proper amount and the City is billed for that amount;

action necessary to cancel and discharge any and all liens for taxes,
from the date of acquisition by said City, held or owned by Pinellas County or
the Slate of p'lorida, upon the hereinafter described lands acquired by the
City of Clearwater far right of way or other public use purposes and to
provide that said lands shall be exempt from County taxation so long as the
samu are used far such public purpose, to wit;
