RESOLUTION
Na. 68 - 8~4
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater, Florida, has heretofore sold
and delivered $1, 250, 000 Utility Revenue Certificates pursuant to Ordinance
No. 1115, enacted on July 3, lgb7; and
WHEREAS, the interest on said Utility Revenue Certificates is due
and payable on August 1, 1968; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to advance $28, 348.75 far payment of
said interest;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY A55E2,~iBLED, A5
FOLLOWS:
1. That the sum of $28, 348.75 be paid from the Construction Trust
Fund by the First National Bank of Clearwater, Florida, Trustee thereof
of Construction Trust Fund Agreement dated November 20, 19b7, which
Constructian Trust Fund is derived from proceeds of the sale of Utility
Revenue Certificates, Series of 1967, to the Chase Manhattan Bank, New
Yar}~ Gity, New York.
2. That a certified cap}' of this Resolution be delivered forthwith
to said Trustee, which said certified copy shall constitute the direction of
the City of Clearwater to said Trustee to pay the foregoing sum directly to
the said Chase Manhattan Bank forthwith in compliance with Section 3 and
other provisions of said Construction Trust Fund Ag Bement.
