RESOLUTION •'

WHEREAS, residents in an area surrounding Pinellas kiigh School
have requested that an unsightly drainage ditch along the western boundary
of the school property bn filled and a paved street with a sidewalk be
caristructed; and
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater recently requested the Pinellas
County Board of Public Instruction to participate in this paving, drainage,
curbs and sidewalk project through the dedication of right of way and
sharing in the cost of the construction thereof; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Public Instruction realized this imgxoveinent
project would be mutually beneficial to it, the City of Clearwater and
the residents in the area; and
WHl•1REA5, the said Board of Public instruction has agreed to
share in the coat of the construction of this project and to provide right
of way for same;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL'YED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
i. 't'hat the City of Clearwater hereby officially expresses their
sincere appreciation to the Pinellas County Board of Public Instruction for
their coapexation and assistance in this project.
2. That certified copies of this Resolution be forwarded forthwith
to the Pinellas Cousity Board of Public Instruction and ko Dr. Thomas B.
Southaxd, Superintendent of Public Instruction.
