WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater, Florida, has received requests
from many of its citisaens that the City rdqunst the State Road Department
to snake a feasibility survey relative to the inetailation of a tra£#ic signal
at Haines Road ~S. R. 593) and Gulf to Say Boulevard (S. R. 60j; and
WHEREAS, said traffic signal is deemed to be necessary because
of the heavy influx of traffic in this area; and
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater la willing to purchase, install
and sxiaintain this signal if the game is found to be warranted after a study
by the Traffic and Plannixsg Departsxient of the State Road Department; and
WHEREAS, this action requires the approval of the State Road Soard
of Florida;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, ~'LORIDA~
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:

Road Department, Bartow, Florida; the State Road Beard, Tallaharssee,
Florida; and Honorable Donald R. Crane, Jr. , State Raad Board Mesnbex,
St. Peteraburc. Florida.
