WHEREAS, the City o[ Clcarwator has, as of this date, engaged
a new City Managcr; and
WHEREAS, some of the City of Clearwater bank accounts require
the signature of the Ciky Manager on the checks written an said accounts;
and
WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to officially designate and
authorize Mcrrett R. Stienc~im as the City Manager of the City of
Clearwater to sign such checks requiring the signature of the City Manager;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS;
1. That the City Commission of the City of Clearwater hereby
officially designates and authorizes MERRETT R. STIERHEIM to execute
any checks requiring the signature of the City Manager far all City of
Clearwater accounts maintained in the Sank of Clearwater, Clearwater,
Florida.
2. That a certified copy of this Resolution be forwarded forthwith
to said Bank of Clearwater and said cope shall be the official authorization
of the City of Clearwater to said Bank to accept the signature of Merrett R.
Stierheim as City Manager immediately,
