WHEREAS, it hue bcon requosted 6y Joseph E. Sampson, the owner
of certain real property in Replat of $ayside Subdivision, in the City of
Clearwater, Florida, that the City of Clearwater, Fiarida, vacate a portion
of Hamden Drive; and
WHEREAS, said portion of Hamden Drive is not necessary nor required
~,_,-•- and it is deemed to be to the best interest and advantage of the City and the
general public that the same be vacated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
I. That the following:
That portion of Hamden Drive (formerly Hamilton Drive}
as recorded an Replat of Bayside Subdivision, Plat Book 23,
pages 18 and lg, Public Records of Pinellas County, Fiarida,
lying North of a line drawn from the Southwest corner of
Lot 2, said Reglat of Bayside Subdivision, to the Northwest
corner of the intersection of the rights of way of First Avenue
and Hamden Drive, subject to the following described storm
sewer easement being retained by the City of Clearwater,
k'lorida; A ten foot storm sewer easement whose center line
is described as: Begin at the Northwest Corner of Lot Z of
Bayside Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 23, pages 18
and 19 of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida,
and run thence S 2b°5b'30" W„ 102, b7 feet to beginning of
said center line and the center of a street drain in the inter-
section of First Avenue and Hamilton (Hamden Drive?,
Clearwater, Florida; thence N 3°28s40" E, 81.44 feet to the
center of another street drain; thence N 7o15'3b" E, 101, b0
feet to a paint over the storm sewer outlet in the seawall
and end of said center line,
be and the same is hereby vacated, closed and released, and the City of
Clearwater hereby quit claims and releases all o£ its right, title and
interest thereto to the persons, firms or corporations entitled thereto by law.
2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to record this Resolution
in the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida.
3. That a certified copy of this Resolution be furnished to Mr.
Joseph E. Sampson, Clearwater, Florida_
