Commission of the City of Clearwater that tho American Railway Exprtss
Campany is proposing to abolish the on-hand office service which it
provides here .in the Gity of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, the services furnished by the American Rail~ta.y Expxess
to the citizenry and merchants of the City of Clearwater ie invaluable;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, A5
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, duly
elected and authorized representatives of the people of the City of Clear-
water, respectfully request the Florida Public Servlce Commission to
not allow the American Railway Express Company to abolish the nn-hand
office service which it provides in the City of Clearwater,
2, That the removal of said facility from the City of Clearwater
would be a backward step in the growth of this community and would be a
hardship upon the citizenry of the City of Clearwater and the merchants of
this growing community.
3. That a certified copy of this Resolution be furnished to the
Florida Public Service Commission, Tallahassee, Florida.
