NOW, THEREFORE, BE iT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
That the City of Clearwater is desirous of being declared eligible
to participate in the Land and Water Conservation Fund program in Florida
and in order to establish such eligibility states:
1. That the City of Clearwater, Florida, is a Florida municipal
corporation established by the Legislature, being Chapter 9710, Special
Acts of Florida, 1423.
2, That James R. Stewart, City Manager, PO Box 1348, Clearwater,
Florida, is the individual designated to serve as liaison agent on all matters
concerning participation in said program.
3. That the Gity of Clearwater is willing to assist the State of
Florida in maintaining its eligibility to participate in the program at the
Federal level.
4. That certified copies of this Resolution be included a~ a part of
the request for eligibility.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of January, 1967.
