RESOLUTION
No, 66 -124
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater, Florida, a municipal corporation,
has applied to the Housing and Urban Development Agency of the United States
of America fox an advance under the Program of Advances for Public Works
Planning for water and sewer facilities in the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, in oxder for this application far said advance to be processed,
it is necessary to comply with the Housing and Home Finance Agency
Regulations under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; and
WHEREAS, said Agency has requested that an authorized official of
the City of Clearwater, Florida, be authorized to sign the Assurance of
Compliance, Form CFA-1901; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater is willing to
abide by said Assurance of Compliance and desires to officially authorize
James R. Stewart, City Manager, to execute said documents;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That James R. Stewart, City Manager, is hereby officially
authorized to execute Form CFA-1901, Assurance of Compliance with the
Housing and Home Finance Agency Regulations under Title VI of the Civil
Rights act of 1964.
2, That a certified copy of this Resolution be forwarded forthwith
to the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Atlanta, Georgia.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of October, 19bb.
