WHEREA5~ the City of Clearwater hag sound it necessa=y to lay,
maintain and operate under the tracks of the Seaboard Air Line Railroad
Company a line of 17.40 inch (O. D.) cast iron water pipe within a 28-inch
(O, D.) spiral welded steel casing pipe crossing under said tracks 1, 097 feet
eastwardly from its Mile Poat 872 in or near Clearwater, Pinellas County,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, the Railroad has prepared an agreement to that effect for
forrnai execution by its corporate officers, as well as the proper municipal
officers of the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, the Railroad has requested a Resolution be adopted by said
City, formally approving said agreement and authorizing the proper City
officials to execute same;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
That the Mayor, together with the other appropriate municipal officers
of the City of Clearwater, are hereby authorized and empowered to execute a
certain agreement with the Seaboard Air Line Railroad Company in connection
with the laying, maintenance and operating a line of 17.40 inch (O. D.) cast
iron water pipe within a 28-inch (O. D.) spiral welded steel casing pipe under
the tracks of said Railroad 1, 097 feet eastwardly from its Mile Poet 87Z, in
or near Clearwater, Pinellas County, Florida.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of October, 1966.
