RESOLUTION
Na. 66 - 12
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater is desirous of entering into a
Lease with the United States of America fax a postal s#ation an Clearwater
Beach, said Lease being dated January 25, 1966; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 9710, Special Acts of Florida, 1923, being the
Chapter of the City of Clearwater, Florida, authorizes the City to enter into
leases with individuals, corporations, etc. , including the United States of
America, and all instruments shall be signed by the City Clerk and the
Cfty Manager, and countersigned by the Mayor-Commissioner and approved
as to form and correctness by the City Attorney; and
WHEREAS, the United States of America has prepared a Lease to
that effect far formal execution by its proper officials and by the pxopex
municipal officers of the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, the United States of America has requested a Resolution
be adopted by said City formally approving said Lease and authorizing the
proper City officials to execute the same;

~~~' IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
~'.e~.._ FOLLOWS:
That the Mayor-Commissioner Joe Turner, City Manager James R.
Stewart, City Clerk R. G. Whitehead and City Attorney Herbert M. Brown,
the appropriate municipal officers of the City of Clearwatex, are hereby
authorized and empowered to execute a certain Lease with the United States
of America for a postal station on Clearwater Beach, said Lease being dated
January 25, 1966.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of Februaxy, 1966.
