RESOLUTION
No. 6S - I38
. WHEREAS, there is acme doubt as to the official name of the
municipally owned airport here in the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, it has been variously known as Clearwater Municipal
Airport and Clearwater Municipal Airpark; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Cnmrnission of the City of
Clearwater to officially name the same;
NOW, THEREFORE, SE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMLSSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION REGULARLY AND DULY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
hereby officially designates the municipally owned airport to be known
as CLEARWATER AZRPARK.
2~~ That the City Engineer and the City Clerk are directed to show
upon the official maps said municipally owned airport as Clearwater Airpark.
3. That certified copies of this Resolution shall be forwarded forthwith
to the Pinellas County Tax Assessor, the Federal Aviation Authority and the
Lessee of said airpaxk.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of Novembor, 1965.
