1. That the City of Clearwater hereby formally requests the Board
of County Commissioners of Pinellas County, Florida, to take all formal
action necessary to cancel and discharge any and all liens for taxes,
delinquent or current, held ar owned lty Pinellas County ar the State of
Florida, upon the hereinafter described lands acquired by the City of
Clearwater for right of way or other public use purposes and to provide that
said lands shall be exempt from County taxation so long as the same are
used for such public purpose, to wit:
a. Property acquired from Southern Emmanuel Tabernacle
Church Apostolic Faith by deed recorded in O. R. 2090,
page 19 of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida,
described as: The West 50 feet of Lot I3, unnumbered
Block, Palm Park Addition to Clearwater, ae recorded
in Plat Baok 4, page Sb of the Public Records of
Fiillsbnrough County, Florida, of which Pinellas County
was formerly a part, the same being in Section Z0,
Township 2g South, Range 15 East.
b. Property acquired from John S. Taylor, Jr. and Marion
U. Taylor by deed recarded in O. R. 2091, page 35, of
the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida, described
as; Being more particularly described as a strip of land
40 feet in width as measured at right angles to and lying
West of and adjoining the West line of the Plat of Barbour-
Morrow Subdivision as recarded in Plat Book z3, page 45,
Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida, less the
East 25. 3 feet, said strip of land being bounded an the
South by the North right of way line of Marianne Street
and on the North by the South right of way line of Palm
Street according to aforesaid Barbour-Morrow Subdivision
Plat. Aforesaid Palm Street is now named Papaya Street.
