WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has providod public boat launching
ramps in and about tho City; and
WHEREAS, the said public ramps are becoming increasingly popular
and more space is needed; and
WHEREAS. the City of Clearwater has contracted with an adjacent
property owner to purchase upland and submerged land to increase the size
of one of its ramps; and
WHEREAS, it was discovered upon searching the title that the Internal
Improvement Fund owns two narrow strips in the parcel sought to be

WHEREAS, said parcels of real property are either adjacent to the
certain upland property presently owned by the Gity of Clearwater or are
surrounded by the parcel to be acquired, and will be used by the City of
Clearwater for municipal purposes including park purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY A5SEhiBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. The City of Clearwater officially requests that the Trustees of
the Internal Improvement Fund of the State of Florida convey to the City
of Clearwater the fallowing described parcels of real property which will
be used by the City of Clearwater for public purposes:
TRACT A ~ Begin at the NE corner of the SW 1/4 of Section
9, Township 29 South, Range 15 East and run West 1478. 97
feet and South 1009:. ?9 feet to Lhe NW corner of Osceola Avenue
and Eldridge Strut; thence N 16°3821" E 75, 5 feet along the
