WHEREAS. it lfae been requestod by Morten F. Plant Hospital, the
nwnor at certain Taal property situated botwcen 3'atforda and Pinellas Streets,
in the City of Cloarwater, Florida, that the City of Clearwater, Florida, vacate
a certain portion of the platted and dedicated riglst of way of Plant Avenue; and
WHEREAS, said portion of the right of way is not necessary nor xequired
and it is deemed to be to the best interest and advantage of the City and the
general public that the same be vacated as right of way, but that the same be
dedicated as an casement for utility installation and maintenance, with the right
to construct, install and maintain thereon any utilities and to inspect and alter
such utilities from time to time:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the following described platted and dedicated right of way
of Plant Avenue:

be and the same is hereby vacated, closed and released, and the City of
Clearwater hereby quit claims and xeleases all of its right, title and interest
theroto to the persons, firms ax coxpaxations entitled thereto by law, as
abutting lot owners, except that the above described right of way is hereby
dedicated as an easement for utility installation and maintenance, with the
right to construct, install and maintain thereon any utilities and to inspect and
alter such utilities fxom time to time.
2. That a certified copy of this Resolution be furnished to Morton
F. Plant Hospital.
