WHEREAS, the City of Clearwattsx has datormined that it is to tho bast
interest of tho people of the City of Clearwater to extend and expand its water
distribution system; and
WHEREAS, it has boon determined after careful study and surveys by
competent engineers that the water transmission line must traverse certain
properties belonging to individuals in the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to obtain a permanent easement of certain
lands belonging to Elmer W. Crouch and Lucille L. Crouch, his wife; and
WHEREAS, the Cityts only means of completing said project is by
acquisition o£ property by grant of easement for necessaxy rights of way far
the extension of uaid water line by means of condemnation proceedings;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMIS-
SIGN OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, IN SE55ION
DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS FOLLOWS:

The Weet 5 foot of Lot 7, Block 2?, as described in Plat Book 14,
page 33, Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida, said lot lying
within the Boundary of the Plat entitled Mandalay Subdivision, as
recorded in Plat Book 14, pages 32 to 35, Public Records of Pinellas
County, Florida,
which said land belongs to Elmer W. Crouch and X+ucille L. Crouch, his tiyife.
2. The City Attorney is hereby instructed to institute condemnation pro-
ceedings in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit of the Stato of Florida
for the purpose of acquiring said property at the earliest possible moment fax
water transmission line to be used for the installatYOn and maintenance of said
water line.
3. That the interact sought to be acquired shall be by grant of easement.
