No.~ 63 -33
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater, Florida, aftar thorough con-
sideration and study, determined that the construction of a municipal inciriaratc~r
was in the public interest and to its benefit; and
WHEREAS, under the terms of .Public Law 5b0, 83rd Cangross, as
amended, the United States of Arnexica has authorized the making of. advances la
public bodies for preiirninary preparation for the construction of public works; and
WI3EREAS, the United States of America authorized the making of an
advance of $17, 000 to the City, which said sum was accepted by the City Carn-
mission by Resolution No. 62-7B, dated 3une 18, 19b2; and
WHEREAS, the contract has now been let fox the construction of said
incinerator and the revenue bonds financing said project have been sold, it is
timely and appropriate that the advance of $17, 000 made to the City he repaid
to the Housing and Home Finance Agency of the United States of Amaxica;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the sum of $17, 000 be paid from the Construction Trust
Fund by the First National Sank of Clearwater, Clearwater, Florida,
Trustee thereof of Construction Trust Fund Agreement dated April 1, 19b3,
which Construction Trust Fund is derived from pxoceeds of the sale of
Incinerator Revenue Bonds, Series of 1963.
2. That a certified cagy of this Resolution be delivered forthwith to
said Trustee, which said certified copy shall constitute the direction of the City
of Clearwater to said Trustee to pay the foregoing sum directly to said Housing
and Home Finance Agency of the United States of America in conipliancr: with
Section 3 (c} and other provisions of said Construction Trust Fund Agreement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th da,y of M y, 1963.
