for the conveyance of natural gas, crossing under the property tracks of the
Railroad in Franklin Street at and near its intersection with East Avonuo;
and
WHEREAS, the Railroad has prepared an agreement to that effect for
formal execution by its corporate officers, as well as the proper municipal
officers of the City of Clearwater, and
WHEREAS, the Railroad has requested a Resolution be adopted by
said City, formally approving said agreement and authorizing the proper
City officials to execute samo;
NOW, TI-IEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED SY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY, ASSEMBLED, A5
FOLLOWS:
That the Mayor, together with the othor appropriate municipal officers
of the City of Clearwater, is hereby authorized and empowered to execute a
certain agreement with the Seaboard Air Line Railroad Company, bearing
date of in connection with the laying, maintaining
and operating under tiie tracks and property of the Railroad a line of 3. 5-inch
(O. D. } steel pipe within a b. 625-inch {O. D. } steel casing pipe in or near Clear-
water, Pinellas County, Florida, for the conveyance of nat~xral gas. crossing
under the progeny and tracks of tho Railroad in Franklin Street at and noar its
intersection with Eaet Avenue.
