RESOLUTION NO. 89N57
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, DEDICATING CERTAIN PARKLAND IN
SECTION 16, TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH, RANGE 15 EAST, PINELlAS
COUNTY, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater is the owner of the hereinafter described W
property; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission now desires that said property be used for
park purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to officially dedicate said parkland
by formal resolution; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section I. The following described proJ.lerty is hereby dedicated as
parkland for use by the general public and the City of Clearwater generally as
their interests may appear:
A port ion of the former Seaboard Coast Line Ra i lroad Company 1 s
right-ofNway, lying in Section 16, Township 29 South, Range 15 East,
conveyed to the City of Clearwater in Official Records Book 3473,
Page 918 of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida, being
more particularly described as follows:
Commence at the Northeast corner of said Section 16; thence
S.88058'4QlIW. along the North line of said Section 16 for 614.19
feet; thence S.03006'40"W. along the Easterly line of said former
railroad right~of-way line for 692.31 feet to the POINT OF
BEGINNING; thence continue S.03006140tlW. along said Easterly line
for 198.42 feet to the Easterly prolongation of the Northerly rightN
ofNway line of Cleveland Street as establ ished by the City of
Clearwater Resolution as recorded in Deed Book 1188, Page 181, of
the Public Records of Pinellas County. Florida; thence S.88047I08uW.

Containing 17,411 square feet, more or less.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to record this resolution
in the public records of Pinellas County, Florida.
Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
passage.
