Sectlon 1. The City Commission, after proper notice and publlc hearing, and
having considered the evidence and testimony presented, finds that no objections have
been fUed or presented or that the objections fUed or presented are deemed
insufficient, and further finds that the above-described real property and the building

situated thereon are unsafe, unsanitary, unfit for human habitation and dangerous and
detrimental to the health, safety, and general welfare of the community, and do not
properly comply with the requirements of Section 138.02, Code of Ordinances, and the
Standard BuUding Code, relating to unsafe buUdings.
Section 2. The City Commission does hereby concur with the finding and
determination of the BuUding Official of the City as set forth as Exhibit A hereto, and
the owner is ordered to repair, alter or improve said premises and the buUding thereon
or remove or demolish such buUding or the unsafe portlon thereof within thirty (30)
days after the passage and adoption of this resolution in accordance with the
requirements of the Standard BuUding Code as referred to in Section 138.01, Code of
Ordinances.
Section 3. A certified copy at this resolution shall be immediately mailed by
certified mall, return receipt requested, to the occupant, if any, at the street address
ot the property, Bnd to the owner of the property addressed as ind~cated on the current
tax roll of Pinellas County, Plorida.
Section 4. If the occupant or owner falls to properly comply with this resolution
within the said thirty (30) day period, the City Manager shall proceed to cause the
removal or demolition of said building or the unsafe portion thereof and shall charge
upon those benefitted and the property such special assessment of the necessary costs
incurred as determined by the City Commission and shall provide that such assessment
be a lien upon the real property.

You are hereby notified that the Building Official finds the building or
structure on the' above-described property is unsafe as defined by
Section 138.02 'of the City of Clearwater Code of Ordinances as adopted by
the City of Clearwater, Florida. .
'Yo~ are further no~ified that'all necessary permits shall be obtained by
December 28, 1987, and that the building 'must be secured immediately to
prevent unauthorized entry until repair or demolition is complete.
'. If you'repair the building,' the repair work must comply with the requirements
'of the Building Code for new buildings. If you are goin9 to demolish the
building, a demolition permit 'must be obtained by pecember 28, 1987, and
work completed not later than January 20, ~988. If you are going to repair
the building, a repair permit must be obtained by Oecember 28, 1987, and the
work .complete by not later than Februa~y 20, 1988.
If the required work is not commenced or completed by the times specified,
the building will be ordered vacated and posted to prevent further occupancy
arid said building shall not be reoccupied until the required repairs are
completed, inspected, and approved in writing by the Building Official.
