RBSOLUTION
No. 88-4
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
ESTABLISHING AN APPLICATION FEE, FOR APPLICATIONS FOR
VARIANCES FROM THE SEPARATION REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION
136.024(d), CODE OF ORDINANCES, RELATING TO THE LOCATION OF
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE ESTABLISHMENTS; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, Section 136.024(d), Code of Ordinances, as amended by Ordinance
4420-87, Imposes certain separation requirements with respect to alcoholic beverage
establishments, and allows variances trom the separation requirements to be approved
by the City Commission under certain circumstances; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to establish an appll,catlon fee to offset the costs of
handling and processing such applications, and the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater finds that the application fee established by this resolution Is necessary
and proper tor such applications;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMtc3SION OF THE CITY
OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The application fee for an application for a variance from the
separation requirements of Section 136.024(d), Code of Ordinances, relating to
alcohollc beverage estabUshments, shaD. be $125.00 per application, which fee shall be
collected by the City Clerk at the time the application is filed. No such appIlcatlon
shan be deemed acceptable for fiUng with the City Clerk unless accompanied by the
application fee.
,Section 2. This resolution shall take erteat immediately upon adoption.
