RESOLUTION
NO. 86 - 84
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
ASSESSING PROPERTIES BENEFITTING FROM THE CON-
STRUCTION AND EXTENSION OF A SANITARY SEWER
SYSTEM WITHIN OLD COACHMAN ROAD IN SUNSET POINT
ESTATES SUBDIVISION, AFTER PROPER PUBLIC nEARING.
WHEREAS, on June 5, 1986, the City Commission adopted'
Resolution No. 86-36 declaring its intent to proceed with the
construction and extension of a sanitary sewer system within
Old Coachman Road in Sunset Point Estates Subdivision; and
WHEREAS, following the adoption of such Resolution, the
following improvements were made:
Construction and extension of a sanitary sewer
system within Old Coachman Road in Sunset Point
Estates Subdivision.
The properties facing and abutting these impr.ovements were deemed
to derive 'special benefits therefrom; and
WHEREAS, the assessment roll required by Section 117.09, Code
of Ordinances, has been prepared for the project; and
WHEREAS, on November 6, 1986, the City Commission adopted
Resolution No. 86-70 establishing a public hearing date for
December 11, 1986, pursuant to the requirements of Section 117.10,
Code of Ordinances, wherein property owners involved may appear
and inquire into the costs of the project and the amount to be
assessed each property owner;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
~OMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Notice has been provided in accordance with the
,provisions of Section 117~10, Code of Ordinances.
. Section 2. The city Commission, having not been presented with

: need to ~qualize or otherwise adjust such assessments, hereby

Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby dir~cted to provide each
property owner listed on the confirmed assessment roll a statement
setting forth the confirmed assessment applicable to the property
owner's property. 'Such s~~tement shall advise the property owner
th~t the assessment must be paid within thirty (30) days of the
date'of the statement.
Section 4.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to issue certifi-
cates of' indebtedness in the manner provided by Section 117.11,
Code of,Ordiriances, for all assessed property where the assessment
,is. not ,paid within thirty (30) days of the date of the assessment
statement.
Section 5. This Resolution shall take effect immediately
'upon adoption.
