I. RESOLUTION OF TilE CUY COMMISSION OF TilE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, DECLARING ITS INTENT PURSUANT TO CHAPTER
170. FLORIDA STATUTES, TO MAKE A PUOLIC IMPROVEMENT, NAMELY
THE CONSTRUCTION AND EXTENSION OF A SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM
WITHIN DOUGLAS MANOR ESTATES 2ND ADDITION UNIT "0"; PROVIDING
FOR TUE PART TO BE PAID BY SPECIAL ASSESSMENT; PROVIDING FOR
MANNER IN WHICH SPECIAL ASSESSMENT IS TO BE MADEl PROVIDING
WHEN SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS ARE TO BE PAID; AND DESCRIBING LANDS
ON WHICH SPECIAL ASSESSMENT IS TO BE LEVIED.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater desires tu
install a sanitary sewer system in a portion of Douglas Manor Estates 2nd
Addition Unit "B"; and
WHEREAS, authority to conduct such project exists in Chapter 170,
Florida Statutes; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to proceed to make such
improvement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CLEARWAl'E.R, FLORIDA
Section 1. Pursuant to Chapter 170, Florida Statutes, the City Commission of
the City of Clearwater, Florida, hereby declarea its intent to proceed to
install a sanitary sewer system within Viewtop Drive in Douglas Manor Estates
2nd Addition Unit "B" as described below, such sanitary sewer system project to

be conducted as a opecial assessment project.
Section 2. The location of such sanitary sewer system shall be as follows:

Section 3. The following part of the cost of such project shall be paid by
special. assessment: $16,993.00.

Section 6. The following part is to be paid from the general improvement fund

"Section 7. The special assessment is to be levied on the following described
land. All !ots and lands adjoining and contiguous or bounding and abutting
upon such improvements or specially benefited thereby and further designated by
the assessment plat hereinafter provided for such project area, being more

Lots 13 through 15, Block D, and Lots 16 through 18, Block E,
Douglas Manor Estates 2nd Addition Unit "B", as recorded in
Plat Book 49, Psge 75, of the Public Records of Pinel1as
County, Florida.
Section 8. The estimated total project cost of the sanitary sewer system
project is $l6,993.00.
S~ction 9. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
