A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATE CITY OFFICIALS TO
EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH STATE OF FLORIDA DEPART-
MENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND SEABOARD SYSTEM RAIL-
ROAD, INC., FOR THE INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE
OF TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES ON A PORTION OF RAILROAD
RIGHT-OF-WAY WITHIN THE CITY, ON LAKEVIEW ROAD
WEST OF MYRTLE AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the State of, Florida Department of ~ransportation is
reconstructing or otherwIse changing aportion of the State Highway
System, between State Road 595 and Myrtle Avenue, which shall call
for the installation and maintenance of traffic control devices
for railroad grade crossings; and
WHEREAS, an appropriate agreement between the State of Florida
Department of Transportation, the Seaboard System Railroad, Inc.,
and the City has been prepared to effect the installation and

maintenance of traffic control devices on Lakeview Road West
of Myrtle Avenue, within the City;
, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
CO~~ISSION OF THE CITY OF 'CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are he.reby authorized and
empowered to execute the agreement with the State of Florida Depart-
ment of Transportation and Seaboard System Railroad, Inc., a copy
'of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A, for the purpose of

the installation and maintenance of traffic control devices across
a portion of railroad right-of-way, as described more particularly
, in the agreement.
