'A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, REVISING THE FEE SCHEDULE TO
CONTROL PERMITS AN D INSPEC'rIONS UN DER CHAPTER 98,
CODE OF ORDINANCES, RELATING TO TREE PROTECTION
AND LAND CLEARING AND GRUBBING.
WHEREAS, the administrative and enforcement costs Involved In servicing land
clearing and grubbing permits have significantly Increased in recent years; and
WHEREAS, the present fees for land clearing and grubbing permit applications
are insuftlcient to pay tor such costs; and
WHEREAS, it Is proper that such costs be recovered through the adoption of a
fee schedule reflecting current expenditures;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following schedule of fees, as established by Resolution 81-13 to
control the Issuance of perml ts and inspections under Chapter 98, Code of Ordinances,
Is amended to read:
(a) Tree removal permit:
(b) Land clearing and grUbbing permit:
(c) Relnspection fee:
$ 3.00 per tree to be removed
(d) Special inspection tee:
$10.00 $Sh99
$25.00 per additional inspection
under Chapter 98 of Code
$25.00
Section 2. The fees established herein shall be paid prior to the issuance of
permits, and such fees shall be non-refundable.
Section 3. 'I11e City Manager may waive the fees established herein upon a
showing of just cause.
Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
