WHEREAS, the city of Clearwater has been made a party defendant
in an action to quiet title which is the subject matter of the case
of Shadow West Apartments, Ltd., v. State of Florida, Department
of Transportation, et al, Circuit Civil No. 85-11000-14;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSIN DULY AND REG,ULARLY ASSEMBLED, 1\5
FOLLOWS:

1. That the City Attorney is hereby autnorized to take any
and all steps necessary to defend the City of Clearwater in the
