RES 0 L UTI 0 N No. 85 - '63 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, ASSESSING PROPERTIES BENEFITING FROM THE CONSTRUCTION AND EXTENSION OF A SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM WITHIN THE STREETS OF SOUTH LAGOON CIRCLE AND WEST LAGOON CIRCLE IN CLEARWATER MANOR SUDDIVISION, AFTER PROPER PUBLIC HEARING. " WHEREAS, on April 18, 1985, the City Commission adopted Resolution No. 85-27 declaring its intent to proceed with the construction and extension of a sanitary sewer system within the streets of South Lagoon Circle and West Lagoon Circle in Clearwater Manor Subdivision~ and WHEREAS, following the adoption of such Resolution, the following improvements were made: Construction and extension of a sanitary sewer system within the streets of South Lagoon Circle and West Lagoon Circle in Clearwater Manor Subdivision. The properties facing and abutting these improvements are deemed to derive special benefits therefrom~ and WHEREAS, the assessment roll required by Section 117.09 of the Code of Ordinances has been prepared for the project~ and WHEREAS, on June 20, 1985, the City Commission adopted Resolution No. 85-45 establishing a public hearing date for July lB, 1985, pursuant to the requirements of Section 117.10 of the Code of'Ordi- nances, wherein property owners involved may appear and inquire into the costs of the project and the amount at be assessed each property owner~ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS FOLLOWS: 1. That notice has been provided in accordance with the provisions of Section 117.10 (a) of the Code of Ordinances. 2. The City Commission, having not been presented with any objections tO,the proposed ass~ssment and finding there is no need to equalize or otherwise adjust such assessments, hereby , ,approves and confirms the assessment roll for the construction and extension of a sanitary sewer system within the streets of South Lagoon Circle and West Lagoon Circle in Clearwater Manor Subdivision, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. Such statement shall advise the property owner that the aRsessment must he paid within thirty (30) days of the date of the statement. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to issue certificates of indebtedness in the manner provided by ~ection 117.11 of the 4. Code of Ordinances for all assessed property where the assessment is not paid within thirty (30) days of the'date of the assessment statement.
