A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF CLEARWATER
TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH SEABOARD SYSTEM
RAILROAD, INC. FOR INSTALLATION OF A WATER PIPE.
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has found it necessary to install
and maintain for the purpose of a raw water pipe, a 16-inch ducti.le
pipe crossing the. Seaboard System Railroad's right-of-way and
trackage at a point 60 feet East of Milepost SY-8?1, at Clearwater,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, the Railroad has prepared an agreement to that effect
for formal execution by its corporate officers, as well as the
proper municipal officials of the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, the Railroad has requested a resolution be adopted by
the City, formally approving said agreement and authorizing the
proper City officials to execute same;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:

That the Mayor, together with the other appropriate municipal
officials of the city of Clearwater, are hereby authorized and em-
powered to execute a certain agreement with the Seaboard System
Railroad, Inc., bearing date of April 26, 1985, in connection with
the installation and maintenance of a 16-inch ductile iron raw water
pipe crossing the Railroad's right-of-way and trackage at a point
60 feet East of Milepost SY-8?1, at Clearwater, Florida.
2. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately upon
its passage.
