A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY
TO DEFEND THE CITY OF CLEARWATER IN THE
CASE OF STATEWIDE BUILDING & DEVELOPMENT
CORPORATION ,V. CHARLES A. DOOLEY, ET AL,
CIRCUIT CIVIL NO. 85-4312-21.

WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has been made a defendant in
a foreclosure action which is the subject matter of ~he case of
Statewide Building & Development Corporation v. Charles A.
Dooley, et' al, Circuit Civil No. 85-4312-21;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to take any
and all steps necessary to defend the City of Clearwater in the
case of St~tewide Building & Development Corporation v. Charles
A. Dooley and Josephine M. Dooley, his wife, and City of Clearwater,
Florida, Circuit Civil No. 85-4312-21.
2. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd
day of May, A.D. 1985.
