^ RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, REQUESTING THE crrrZENS
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER TO DECREASE THEIR USE
OF WATER BY TEN PER CENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater, Florida, has only received a
trace of rain in the lnst thirty-four (34) days; and
WHEREAS, thc lack of rnin has commcnced to cause a depletion
of w3tcr in our wells; and
WHEREAS, until such time as a sufficient amount of rain is
received and the water tables are built back up, water conservation
measures are necessary; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
wishes to request the citil.ens of the City to voluntarily decrease
their u~e of water by ten PQr cent;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY O? CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Co~nission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
hereby requests the' citizens of the City to voluntarily restrict
their use of water for all purposes and to voluntarily decrease
such use by ten per cent.
2. That such voluntary restraint should remain in effect until
the City receives sufficient. rainfall and the water table is restored.
3. That this Resolution shall be effective immediately upon
its adoption.

day of March, A.D. 1985.
