A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF CLEARWATER
TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH SEABOARD COAST
LINE RAILROAD COMPANY FOR INSTALLATION OF A
STORM WATER PIPELINE.
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has found it necessary to install
and maintain for the purpose of conducting storm water, a line of
32-inch ductile iron pipe, encased in a 36-inch steel pipe, across
the right-of-way and under the tracks of the Seaboard Coast Line
Railroad in Clearwater, Florida, at a point 440 feet southeastwardly
from Milepost ARE-883; and
WHEREAS, the Railr.oad has prepared an agreement to that effect

for formal execution by its corporate officers', as well as the proper
municipal officials of the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, the Railroad has requested a resolution be adopted by
the City, formally approving said agreement and authorizing the
proper City officials to execute same;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the Mayor, together with the other appropriate municipal
officials of the City of Clearwater, are hereby authorized and em-
powered to execute a certain agreement with the Seaboard Coast Line

Railroad Company, bearing date of October 18, 1984, in connection
with the installation and maintenance of a storm water line, a line
of 32-inch ductile iron pipe, encased in a 36-inch steel pipe, across,
the right-of-way and under the tracks of the Railroad in Clearwater,

Florida, at a point 440 feet southeastwardly from Milepost ARE-8S3.
2. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately
. upon its adoption.
