A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY
TO DEFEND THE CITY OF CLEARWATER IN THE
CASE OF CARL W. GREENE, ET UX, V. FLORIDA
POWER CORPORATION AND CITY OF CLEARWATER,
CIRCUIT CIVIL NO~ 84-6100-16.

WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater 'has been made a party defendant
in an action for equitable relief and to quiet title, which is the
subject matter of the' case of Carl W. Greene, et ux, v. Florida
Power Corporation, et a1, Circuit civil No. 84-6100-16;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS: '

1. That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to take any and
all steps necessary to defend the City of Clearwater in the case
of Carl W. Greene, et ux, v. Florida Power Corporation and City of
Clearwater, Circuit Civil No. 84-6100-16.
2. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of December, A.D. 1984.
