WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has been made a defendant
in an action for damages, which is the subject matter of the ~ase
of Sandra L. Jones v. City of Clearwater, Circuit Civil No.
84-12213-16;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:

1. That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to take any
and all steps necessary to defend the City of Clearwater in the
