A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, PURSUANT TO
SECTION 117.08 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES,
DECLARING ITS INTENT TO PROCEED,WITH THE
INSTALLATION OF' PAVING, CURBS AND DRAINAGE
FOR VIRGINIA LANE, RUNNING SOUTH OF GULF
TO BAY BOULEVARD.
WHEREAS, the procedure to govern special assessment improve-
ments is contained in ehapter 117,:Codi bt:Otdinande~i'~
City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, the public improvements provided for herein, namely
installing paving, curbs and drainage, is contained in Section
117.03 of such Chapter; and
WHEREAS, the City commission of the City of Clearwater wishes
to declare its intent to proceed with such project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
!N SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That pursuant to Section 117.08, Code of Ordinances,
City of clearater, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater
hereby declares its intent to proceed with providing street
paving, curbs and drainage on Virginia Lane, running South of
Gulf to Bay Boulevard, within the NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of the
SW 1/4 of Section 13, Township 29 South, Range 15 East, such
project to be conducted as a special assessment project.
2. That the street to be improved through providing paving,
curbs and drainage is Virginia Lane, running South from Gulf to
Bay BOUlevard, within the NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of 'the S\i 1/4
of Section 13, Township 29 South, Range 15 East.
3. That the following part of the cost of such project shall
,: be paid by special assessment: $27,875.07
4. That such special assessment shall be made on the following
basis: Uniform front foot assessment of $27.00.
5. That such special assessments are to be paid in the
following Manner: Full amount within 30 days of billing or in
ten annual installments over a ten year period at 10% interest

6. That the following part of such improvement project is to
be paid from municipal funds: Balance after uniform assessment
amount.
7. That the special assessment is to be levied on the following
deacribed lands: All lots and lands bounding and abutting upon
the street improvement project described in paragraph 2 of this
Resolution.
8. That the estimated total project cost of the project as
that term is defined in Section 117.01 of the Code of Ordinances,
City of Clearwater, is as follows: $35,000.00 to $70,000.00.
9. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its adoption.
